Hi Sturm78,

Yes, I believe it is a "240 mm Mle 1884 sur affût G à châssis circulaire amélioré" (= 240 mm Model 1884 on W[ar] carriage with improved circular chassis :wink: )

I think it is one of the guns of Battery Chef de Baie at La Rochelle (French Atlantic coast).

I think it is a French 164 mm Mle 1893-96 coastal gun "sur affût 1893-28" at the Amfreville battery near Cherbourg. :idea:
