But you say if Germany hadnt lost all the major land battle, in which case, what bases would the allies of had within range in this case?

Easy Solution.

Have the Dirty Dozen to load "fat boy" at the back of a german army truck and
drove all the way from France to HEart of Berlin and... pull the trigger
(*at a distance..they will know how )
