Taking into consideration the fact that the Normandie-Niemen Regiment was very well thought off. I believe that this would have probably warmed up relations a bit.
Btw, weren't there some British airmen in 1941 in the SU. They delievered LL aircraft and remained to train Soviet pilots on the new airplanes, IIRC. Did they see any action?

In all honesty, absolutley nothing would have changed bar for the fact that there would have been a waste of scarce British manpower and resources. The Russians would always demand more, and the fact that we provided convoys to the Artic ports and that 2 Squadrons of the RAF flew CAP missions in Hurricanes was appreciated, as several British serviceman and merchantmen were awarded for their bravery by the Russians.

I don't think there would have been some kind of a quarrel.
Such a force would have been appreciated by Russia.
But what would have been the size of this force and its functions?
I don't think that the Russians needed any infantry or tank regimens from Britain.Another matter is the British air force with its Spitfires etc.
The experiensed British aces would have been a substential boost to the
acceleration of Victory on the Eastern front.
