May be that it seems so, but i never will tolerate any attempts, to throw all germans in one hole, especially not from a polish guy. We should live in times, where prejudice has no chance anymore, but obvious that's not the case in the mind of some people, like HETMAN.

I thought that might tickle you Ovidius.

Isn't that why you wouldn't read 'Fatherland'?

The two are are very similar my Romanian friend.

Ironic isn't it? When lecturing people, Ovidius has recently been fond of paraphrasing Mr. Smith with an idea -think out of the box- that I suspect :P would not be highly approved of by the NSDAP.

Well, for a guy who doesn't like any prejudice, you sound... well.. narrow minded.... I re-read the initial post and I don't see how he was putting everybody in the same basket... But, hey, maybe I have visions: I am just a polish guy. 8O

If Germany had won the war, Germany would today be the only world superpower, much in the same way that the USA is today. The order of the world would certainly be different: there would no state of Israel and no non-whites on European soil. There would also be more of a social dimension to economic policy and more authority in government, needless to say.
I can't say whether the world would be better or worse because this depends on your point of view, but at the risk of sounding banal I would say that things would be very different!

Kapitan Drago,

The majority of the Eastern European country are still learning how capitalism work and it take time since the breakdown of communism in 1989. The Czech Republic is probably the only Eastern European country where the transition from communism to capitalism work really well.

You think that i'm narrowminded, because you have not seen and percept the provocation in his post. You think that i'm narrowminded, because you don't know him for such a long time, as i do. I well tell you something : if someone is permanently attacking your friends or brothers in an insulting and unfair way, what would you do ? Will you stand still and accept it? I'm not a coward and i will never stand aside, if such an subject tries to attack our people. Understood ?

You are right, things would be very different, especially for some of our big mouthed eastern neighbours, which are dancing on our nose now (see Benes).

Let me tell you something : one of my best female friends is polish, and i'm knowing some more poles, they are modest and not bigmouthed like you. Neither arrogant, nor chauvinistic and singleminded. I strongly hope, you are only an exception. You are one of the most unpleasant persons i know from any forums.
