Hetman made a good point that East Germany can say thanks to Polska for freedom right now because they are partly responsible for the collapse of communism thanks to the great Lech Walesa.

Nonsense, the collapse of the east german government, has been caused by its own weakness and by the courage of many germans. We Germans have to thank two people : George Bush sen. and especially Gorbatschow, for sure not any poles. The last one is a great friend of us, and we like him very much - in opposite to chauvinistic and dumb poles like HETMAN, einen Dummbratz.

Yeah, I've already seen that. A tragic incident, but it's not like we gassed six million Jews or anything, now is it?

Anyway, I never said Poles were liberal. I was saying that we were the most liberal country behind the Iron Curtain. It's a relative thing. Despite the repression, Poles proved to make the best out of a difficult situation. Along with the Hungarians, I should say.

C'mon you wuss, give credit where it's due. Poland played it's part in the fall of the wall. Most East Germans just went along with the party till the last few weeks.
